Not sure how to tell your Willow Warbler from your Whitethroat? Wanting to know what is special about a Song Thrush's song? Chris, our Visitor Manager and a birdwatcher with more than 30 years experience, will in his own unique style teach you both the basics and the cunning tricks to help you learn which bird is which from their song alone.
This is a practical course, so most of the time will be spent outside on reserve paths listening to the birds. It may therefore be affected by the weather.
The event will end with a complimentary warming drink in the visitor centre cafe.
Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather and stout footwear
Toilets are available at the visitor centre at the start and end of the event
