Once again, we've partnered with Mersey Ferries for the return of the popular Bird Watching and Wildlife Cruise! On Sunday 30 June and Saturday 31 August , sail the River Mersey and out into Liverpool Bay, whilst spotting wildlife on this three hour cruise.
Sightings have previously included long tailed skuas, peregrine falcons, osprey and Atlantic grey seals. Experts from RSPB will be on board to answer your questions and help with the spotting of wildlife.
This cruise is perfect for families and both new and experienced watchers. For the little ones, there will be lots of fun children’s craft activities on board and a Wildlife Bingo game. You could also win some fantastic prizes in the raffle hosted on board by RSPB.
Light refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase on board. A limited number of binoculars will be available to hire from RSPB during the cruise for a £2 (non-refundable) rental fee.
The upper deck is accessible by stairs only. The main deck of the vessel is fully accessible and includes an accessible toilet. Please be aware that photography and filming may take place during this event and may be used for the purpose of promoting Mersey Ferries online, in print and on social media.
