The more information you can give us, the better our recommendations can be, so it's worth thinking about three things before you come to buy:
1. You budget - a good pair of binoculars will cost around £150, however they can be as much as £3000, so it's worth having a budget in mind before you look.
2. When, where, and how you'll be using your binoculars - for example, do you need a lighter pair to take on your travels, or do you spend a lot of time in the early darker mornings in a hide?
3. Comfort and performance - your binoculars should be easy to use, and not strain your eyes. Many are anti-fog and waterproof, meaning you won't have to panic if you get caught out in the rain.
