Winter wetlands and waterfowl walk - RSPB Lochwinnoch

Discover the wonders of wetlands and the waterfowl that live within.

Join us for this 2.5 hour specialised event including two guided walks and a free lunch where we will explore the trails around our wetlands, explaining how and why we manage them whilst observing the wildlife as we go.

The walks will be led by our warden who will help you learn ID skills for some of the species we get here and share information about our current and future management aims for RSPB Lochwinnoch.

This walk would be ideal for those looking to gain more of an insight into wetland management, improve their ID skills or simply learn more about the habitats and wildlife that can be found here.

Lunch includes soup, a pre-packed sandwich and a hot beverage. Please indicate any dietary requirements when booking and select one sandwich per person from the list available. Any bookings made after 11th November, we cannot guarantee to be able to provide for all dietary requirements or provide the sandwich of your choice but will try our upmost.

Binoculars are advised but we do have some available for hire if don't have your own.

People must come suitably attired for the weather and wearing appropriate footwear. Unsuitably attired people may not be permitted to go on the walk.
