This is a wild event the whole family can enjoy together. We will be exploring our ponds, woodland and meadow with hands-on activities to make sure you get up close to the wildlife that lives there.
*Our meadow is still a little bit wet and muddy. Wellie boots or walking boots are advised.*
The theme of this wild family day is our meadow. Learn all about the magical flowers in our meadows and see how many different colours you can spot. Join us for some meadow sweeping and see what amazing and wonderful creatures you can find living amongst the grasses. Get crafty and make your own seed bomb and creepy crawly to take home with you.
Cost of activities:
No need to pre-book, just turn up and pay on the day.
£3.50 for RSPB members.
£4 for non-members. Plus entry fees to the reserve for Non-members.
Reserve entry: Adults £4.50 Children £2.50 (under 18) Free entrance for first child. Free entrance for under 5s.
Please note that although this event is drop in, we do have a limit on the amount equipment we have. You may be asked to explore other parts of the reserve or complete one of our other activities until equipment becomes available.
