Enjoy a sunset walk with the dramatic spectacle of Saltholme’s landscape as our wildlife begins to settle in for the night.
As waders and wildfowl flock back to us after a day feeding out on the estuary, Saltholme is a magical place to be as the sun goes down; with mesmerizing starling murmurations, the stage is set for a spectacular evening, as the birds wheel and swoop through the air, sometimes directly overhead, getting ready to roost in our reedbeds.
Keep your eyes peeled for peregrine falcon and marsh harrier, that often make an appearance in search of an evening meal.
With so much activity, accompanied by a cup of soup, you won’t be disappointed.
