Discover Titchwell

Titchwell Marsh is a natural retreat abundant with birds, small mammals, and various wildlife. Summer offers the perfect opportunity to observe resident waders lazing in the sun and Marsh Harriers soaring overhead. Look out for colourful butterflies on the wing, shy water voles dipping into hidden waterways and iridescent dragonflies darting through golden reedbeds.

Join our guide for a short introduction to Titchwell’s diverse landscapes and visit our best wildlife watching sites. You'll take in close up views of birds along the West Bank path and depending on seasonal variations, you'll visit either the east reedbeds or the beach. Expect to walk approximately three miles, but don't worry - there is plenty of seating along the way and you'll pop into one or two hides during your tour.

This walk is ideal for novice birders and visitors new to the reserve and designed with you in mind. It is suitable for individuals, couples and families. However, you will not be able to bring your dog on this event.

Wildlife watching equipment is not required however, binoculars can be hired from our shop to enhance your experience. Do ask on arrival.
