Wintering Waders and Wildfowl - Warden Walk at St Aidan's

Join the Warden of St Aidan’s for this very special tour to find out about the creation and maintenance of our wetland habitats, and our wintering waders and wildfowl. You’ll experience parts of the site not normally open to visitors, find out more about its winter residents, and have the opportunity to ask our Warden all of your questions about life on the St Aidan’s wetlands.

Numbers are strictly limited and pre-booking is essential. Ticket price includes car parking on site, binocular hire if required, and a hot drink and cake afterwards.

This will be a walking tour, lasting approx. 1.5-2 hours, and will go ahead in inclement weather – please make sure you have comfortable, waterproof clothing. Please also be aware that the walk will cover some uneven ground, so appropriate footwear and care are essential.
