Our binocular and telescope experts will be happy to guide you through how to use your binoculars, telescope, or monocular, and how to get the most out of them. We offer unbiased and fair advise that you can trust.
Before you come shopping, it's worth considering the following:
1. Budget - good binoculars can cost as little as £150, however they can be as expensive as £3000, so it's worth having a budget in mind.
2. Usage - are you a fan of birdwatching in an early morning hide, or do you prefer to take a closer look at the expanse of the Usk estuary? Knowing how you'll be using your binoculars will help us make recommendations based on magnification and lens size.
3. Comfort - it's really important that your binoculars are comfortable and don't strain your eyes. While you can't tell this until you've got a pair in your hands, it's worth having this in mind before you start.
