Wild Wetland Winter Guided Walks

Wrap up warm and join us to see the best that winter has to offer- we will be looking for seasonal highlights with our knowledgeable guides on this beautiful reserve!

It's tempting sometimes to hide away indoors in the winter, but if you don't mind wrapping up warm then come along for a guided tour of the reserve. We will be looking out for highlights such as Whooper Swans from northern Europe, a variety of ducks (who look their best in winter!) and winter thrushes such as Fieldfare and Redwing. If we are lucky we may spot birds of prey that live on the reserve in the colder months, such as Merlin or Short-eared Owl. A couple of our knowledgeable volunteers will lead the tour so please feel free to ask as many questions as you like- this event is suitable for all ages and levels of interest.

Please wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and bring some warm and waterproof clothing layers with you, as the reserve can be chilly in winter.
