Bird of Prey Walk at RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Join our friendly wildlife guide for a 1.5 hour stroll around the reserve with the aim of spotting our impressive wintering birds of prey. We will be on the lookout for Short-eared Owls, Peregrine Falcon, Kestrel, Barn Owl and Sparrowhawk to name a few. This is also a good time of year to spot wintering farmland birds, deer grazing in nearby fields and species such as divers out at sea.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee sightings of any specific species, as much as we would like to! Our guides will use their expert knowledge and experience to spot any wildlife that is around on the day.

Please be aware that Bempton Cliffs can be a cold, windy reserve. Some of the paths on the reserve are not paved and therefore can be muddy during periods of wet weather. Appropriate clothing and footwear is advised.

It is best to spot wildlife on the reserve using binoculars. If you have them, be sure to bring binoculars with you, however we do also have them available for hire from the welcome desk on the day.
