Sunrise Harrier Watch at RSPB Titchwell Marsh

Bundle up for this true warden experience stationed in a monitoring hide deep in the heart of the reserve. You'll be in the ultimate spot to watch harriers leave their overnight roosts in the depth of the reedbeds. This exciting opportunity is only available for a few weeks overwinter and is the perfect adventure for all raptor enthusiasts or budding wardens.

Plan to spend approximately two hours in the hide, so be sure to dress suitably for the weather and season. It is advisable to wear waterproof clothing and boots, as the access path may become muddy following heavy rainfall. You may want to bring a flask of hot drink with you or consider having a blanket if you feel the cold. You will need to be able to climb the steps to the hide entrance without assistance and it does feel snug inside. As space is limited, we suggest you leave your scope and tripod behind, but binoculars are a must!

Whether you are an avid bird watcher or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this memorable adventure is not to be missed. You'll conclude your morning with a hot drink and light breakfast in the Welcome Hub where you can review your experience with your guide.

Due to the risk of wildlife disturbance, this event is limited to two people per morning and is suitable for 16 years plus only. All visitors aged between 16 and 18 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
